To celebrate International Women’s Day,

PWHL Toronto superstars Sarah Nurse and Victoria Bach joined us in coaching a group of young, talented hockey players from diverse communities across the GTA.

Girls ages 8 to 13 were invited to attend a cost-free CCM hockey camp at Leaside Memorial Gardens Arena in Toronto, Ontario. All levels were welcome to participate and learn valuable skills to improving their game – not only from trained CCM staff, but with the help of Team CCM’s valued professional hockey players.

Community initiatives are the backbone of CCM, and we were thrilled to give these deserving girls an opportunity to learn from the best.

Players and families were invited to an autograph session with Nurse and Bach, where they took pictures with the pros, and had personal items signed to ensure their memories from the CCM HERoes Hockey Camp will last a lifetime.

We wish all of our participants the best of luck in their hockey careers!
